Description:

Hi my name is Chelsea and I’m a 10 year old tortoiseshell who is looking for her forever home. I arrived at the shelter 2 months ago when my owners had to move to accommodation that I wasn’t allowed in. I’m a very shy girl looking for a quiet home with no children or other animals.

I’m very sweet once I’m feeling confident around you and love a chin scratch. Loud noises and sudden movements make me very scared and so sometimes I can be a bit hissy and if I’m feeling really scared sometimes I swipe, but I promise I just need to settle and become confident in a new home and I’ll make a lovely cat.

The staff say I’m very pretty and would love to see me in a home with outdoor access and have someone to curl up on the sofa with in the evening. Potential owners will need to visit me a few times so we can get comfortable with each other and please don’t be alarmed if I’m not very welcoming at first, I just need to feel safe and comfortable.

If you are interested in me please pop in, reception will need to see a utility bill with your name and address on and if you’re in rented accommodation please bring in landlord permission to make the adoption process quick and easy.

6 days to go! Who has signed up for the 5k #saveourshelter run?

This is going to be a great event and we would love to see as many people as possible.

Can you believe that Chelsea is still searching for her new home? Please help us find her a wonderful new family before the end of 2018.

It's so sad and you would be making such a difference by adopting a rescue cat.
