Description:

Hi there, I’m Cookie. A very handsome (even if I do say so myself) 1 and a half year old male hamster looking for a new home.

My favourite thing to do is chill in my bed all day and watch the world go by. I’m not the most active hamster in the world but once I get in my exercise ball there is no stopping me!

The staff at the shelter are working very hard with me to get me used to hands as I’m not the best with being handled. I must warn you, I do squeal quite a bit if I’m feeling nervous. So all I need is a family who have time, patience and is willing to work with me.

I will need a large multi-level cage with lots of tubes and chew toys so I can explore and have lots of places to hide if I was to be on my own for a bit. A ball to run around in would be a bonus!

The staff think that due to me being nervous, I wouldn’t be suited to a home with very young children. They say slightly older children of 8+ or even an adult only home would be perfect.

Look forward to meeting you soon 🙂 Love Cookie xx
