The JSPCA have seen an influx of Terrapins in our care over the last few years and we struggle to find new homes for them.
Some of our past residents have been in our care for over two years before being given a second chance. These animals have been brought into us when they can longer be cared for, and some even abandoned around the island including beaches and parks.
We would urge members of the public to do their research and ensure that a caring home can be provided for up to 40 years!
