Cassie is an older lady looking for a loving retirement home. She is an absolute sweetheart and loved by all the staff. She would like a home where she will have someone around a lot of the time. She will be fine to be left for a few hours once settled in, but really enjoys human company!

Cassie is really easy going, so she’s able to spend time out of her kennel and keep the office staff company. She likes going for a couple of gentle strolls a day to stretch her legs.

She’s happy to live with a calm older dog or cat, but children may be a little much for her. She would like a quieter home in her older years, but could be okay with children visiting, depending on introductions, due to being a bit blind and deaf.

Cassie will need daily grooming and a trip to the groomer now and then to keep on top of her wonderful coat. She has a medical condition that will need to be discussed with the Vet at the JSPCA.

If you already have a rehoming form on file at the JSPCA Animals’ Shelter, please contact us if you are interested. The team has loads of application forms to get through, so they will only contact homes that would be suitable. We will also need Landlord’s permission and proof of address from the past 2 months.
