As part of the new Professional Dog Walkers Welfare Code, issued by the Government Of Jersey, it has been advised for professional dog walkers to be trained in dog first-aid.
The JSPCA is offering a First Aid Course For Professional Dog Walkers. If you are not a professional dog walker, yet still wish to learn about first aid in dogs, then you are also welcome on this course.

• Contents of Pet First Aid Kit and their usage
• Recovery Position
• Common situations for first aid, the clinical signs and what first aid measures to take
• How to check a dogs vital signs
£45 (plus EventBrite booking fee). All of the funds raised goes to the JSPCA and the work we carry out.

Who is the course taught by and will I get a certificate?
The course is taught by one of the JSPCA’s Registered Veterinary Nurses and a certificate will be provided at the end of the course to show your attendance and completion.
