Reception (Full-Time)

As an integral part of the Front of House Team, you will work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues to provide an efficient, professional and caring front of house service for members of the public seeking to use the services of the JSPCA.  You will communicate effectively with the public and your colleagues, work within JSPCA policies, procedures and guidelines and support the promotion of the JSPCA and responsible pet ownership to the community.

Hours of work – 40 hours to be worked as part of a rota to cover opening hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with one hour unpaid lunch break and Saturday mornings, 9 am to 1pm).

Maintenance and Facilities Co-Ordinator (Full-Time)


The JSPCA are looking for a Facilities and Maintenance co-ordinator who will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective supervision of the security and condition of the site buildings and grounds, ensuring safety, health & environmental standards are implemented and maintained. The role is also responsible for the co-ordination of the ambulance services, crematorium and cemetery services, maintenance, and other business support activities.

Hours of work – 40 hours (Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 17.00pm with one hour unpaid lunch break).  Due to the nature of the role and responsibility in co-ordinating the Ambulance Services, on occasion it might be necessary to also undertake Ambulance shifts outside of the standard working hours.

Office Administrator (Part-time)

The JSPCA are seeking an Office Administrator who will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support and secretarial services to the CEO, including records management in respect of members, donors, and supporters. The role also undertakes all routine aspects of the financial management processing and HR administration within the JSPCA.
