Pounds for Paws Charity Dog Walk 2019

On Sunday 27th October 2019  the JSPCA held their annual Pounds for Paws charity dog walk.
The walk was at 10am and they walked from Bel Royal Slip to La Haule Slip and back. There was a great turnout from the animal loving community of Jersey. There was a mixture of dog breeds in attendance from a previous resident of the JSPCA, Poppy the Lhasa Apso, whose birthday it was on the 27th right up to the lovely Red, Pointer, who is still looking for his forever home in kennels at the JSPCA.
Three of the JSPCA dogs who are looking for their forever home were in attendance: Red, Toby and Saska. They all had a lovely time interacting  and enjoyed a lovely walk on the beach.
In total the final amount raised was £695!
Lovely 6 year old Abigail raised over £137 by asking for sponsorship from her family and friends to undertake the walk along with her 13 year old dog Shyo. The JSPCA are so proud of Abigail and her fundraising efforts. Abigail has been invited for a behind the scenes tour of the JSPCA as a big thank you from everyone at the JSPCA.

A massive thank you to everyone who attending the walk on Sunday and for their donation towards the JSPCA. The support from the animal loving community was amazing.
