The busy wildlife season is just around the corner and the JSPCA are looking for some dedicated and reliable wildlife volunteers to assist the clinic team in rehabilitating injured, sick and orphaned wildlife.
We have numerous time slots available and, as this is seasonal, we would be looking for volunteers to start in April and be able to reliably dedicate their time to volunteer until September.
No prior experience or knowledge is required as full training will be given. However, we do ask that you are enthusiastic, have a love for local Jersey wildlife, and don’t mind getting a bit dirty!
Training will be provided and volunteers are required 7 days a week for any of the following time slots:
-
8am-10am
-
12pm-2.30pm
-
3pm-5pm
The volunteer position would include:
- Cleaning out and feeding animals in wildlife enclosures (inside and outside)
- Hand feeding orphaned birds / mammals
- Washing up, keeping the animal rooms clean and tidy, mopping floors, preparing feeds and much more…
If you feel you can support the JSPCA by offering your time to volunteer with the wildlife then please complete the application form below and we will be in touch if your availability matches our requirements:
