Hi everyone! I’m Benny (my nickname is Rhino because of my funky hairdo!) and I’m about 4 years old. I came to the shelter 3 months ago and now I’m looking for a new home, and ideally a friend to live with.

I have been meeting a female guinea pig but we haven’t hit it off, I guess we just aren’t meant to be. I haven’t lived with another pig before so maybe I was a bit too full on for her and we didn’t mix. But I’m still on the hunt for a friend!

I love exploring my cage and will often be found covering myself with hay! I also love veggies, I get really excited and will squeak loads while it’s being prepared. Being fed with different enrichment is super fun and it would be great if it could continue.

I need a nice big hutch with a run so I can stretch my legs and find the perfect spot to relax. I’m quite good with being handled, I was wary of it at first, but you humans aren’t so bad.

If you think you’ve got the perfect home for me, please get in touch with the animal shelter and show them pictures of the hutch, landlords permission (if you’re in rented accommodation) and proof of address.

I’m a minimum adoption fee of £35 and I’ve been neutered and microchipped.
