Hi gang my name is Brenda, I’m a 4 month old Russian hamster who was brought into the shelter just over a month ago with a few other hamsters after my owner could no longer look after us.

I gave the staff an unexpected surprise when I gave birth after a couple of days here, turns out I came in pregnant! Now my babies are old enough and I have my freedom back I’m ready for a new home. I can be a little bit feisty but that might be because I was in mother mode so hopefully with more handling and time away from my babies I will become more comfortable with people.

I’m looking for a home were I can live in a nice big cage with lots of things to do so I don’t get bored. I’m hoping someone will be interested who will handle me daily and help me gain confidence with people.

If you are interested in adopting me then you will need to bring in proof of address from the past 2 months and landlord permission if you’re in rented accommodation. The staff will need to see a picture of my new cage I will be living in to make sure it’s the perfect home for me.

I am a minimum adoption fee of £10 (which I am definitely worth!) Hope to see you all soon!
