Hi everyone my name is Loulou and I’m a 7 year old tabby who’s looking for a very special home. I arrived at the shelter over 3 months ago as a very overweight antisocial lady, 3 months later I’m a little less overweight and a bit more social. I’m still not the super friendly cat that the staff know I will become once my confidence grows.

I’m looking for a new home where my owners will understand that I currently don’t want strokes or cuddles, I’m just happy to sit near people and have the company. I’m quite hissy at first and I will use my claws if I get scared so I need an adult only home. I can’t live with other cats but i’d be happy to live with a calm dog who is used to cats. The staff have seen signs that I want to be friendly and have attention, I’m still just too scared to act on it.

I’m on a diet as I am still quite overweight although I am allowed a few treats a day to help me feel settled and make friends. I will need outdoor access in my new home as I’m actually quite an active cat who loves to play with toys! I’ve now spent Halloween and Christmas here so I would like to be in a new home by Valentine’s Day because scaredy cats deserve love too!

If you think you have a nice quiet home and would be willing to put in a bit of effort to make an amazing cat then please come down and see me. You will need to visit me a few times so we can get used to each other so I will feel more comfortable in my new home.

If you are interested in adopting me then you will need to bring in proof of address from the past 2 months and landlord permission if you’re in rented accommodation. The staff will need to come round to your house for a home visit to make sure it’s the perfect home for me. I am a minimum adoption fee of £100 (which I am definitely worth!) I am microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
