Hi everybody I’m Smartie. I’m a 1 year old Pomeranian cross 🐕🤎

I’m looking for a loving home to call my own! And if you’re looking for a snuggly lap dog, then I might be the right dog for you 🐶

I’m very nervous of strangers especially men. I take a very long time to trust men but only a couple of meet ups with woman and I generally get on really well with them so ideally I’d prefer an all woman home. I need a home with patient owners who are happy to come in and meet me as many times as it takes to form a nice bond with me and someone that is happy to continue introducing me carefully to strangers once I’ve been adopted.

Once I know you I’m the sweetest boy! I absolutely love cuddles and being a little lap dog! I’m happiest when I’m with those I love and I’m ready to be someone’s best friend 💜

I get really upset when I’m left on my own but my carers at the JSPCA have started working on this and things are looking promising that I might cope with longer periods once I’ve settled into my home and learnt it’s a safe place. For now though, I won’t be able to be left alone at all until I am fully settled and feel safe and secure in my home and I’ve learnt that you’re not going to leave me 🥰

I could possibly live with another dog depending on introductions at the JSPCA. I get on well with small dogs and when I’m around a confident dog, I get more confident too. 🤗 Nervous dogs make me feel more nervous so it’s probably best if I don’t live with another nervous doggie. I’m not able to live with cats 🐈 as they are far too exciting! I could possibly live with children 12+ that will depend on introductions.
