What on Earth is an Axolotl?? I’m sure some of you may be asking; well I am a (very cute) amphibian which originated in the high altitude freshwater lakes of Mexico don’t you know 😉

My days are spent mostly chilling under one of my plants or if I catch one of my friends here at the JSPCA walking by my tank I’ll come to the front and flash my smile for a cheeky wax worm treat 😋

I require rather special care and wouldn’t be suitable for beginners; the staff would be happy for you to call up or pop in for a chat about me 👍

Unfortunately I cannot be housed with any other friends as I’m quite an old boy just looking for a large tank to chill in 🤗

The team will need to see proof of address dated within the last 2 months and if you live in rented accommodation we will need permission for you to keep this species from your landlord. They will also need to see photos and measurements of your tank to ensure it’s the perfect set up for me 👌🏼
